What could top being Troop of the Year in 1999?  How about being Troop of the Year for the second year in a row!!! Scouting is about learning by doing and having fun.  We try to do a lot of both in our Troop.  Here is a list of some of the activities and achievements of our troop in recent years:

Troop 30 was Well Represented 
at 2001 National Jamboree

Seven Scouts from Troop 30 attended the 21001 National Jamboree this summer at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia.  Patrick Smith, Albert Speed, John Miller, Jamie Willbanks, Brandon Howard, Aaron Brown and  Jonathan Sebring participated  in Troop 1904 of the Quapaw Area Council Contingent.  While on the trip, the group hiked the Gettysburg National Military Park Trail and visited Washington, D.C. for two days.  Gary Speed was an assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 1904.  Other adults participating on staff at the Jamboree were Tom Smith, Shelia Brown, Wendell Brown, and Tom Dodson.

Helped with service projects at St. Paul United Methodist Church

Troop Meetings

Troop meetings are 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the St. Paul United Methodist Church Annex at 2223 Durwood Road in Little Rock.  To get there turn north on Kings Row off of Cantrell Road across from Back Yard Burger.  Go down the hill and turn right at the first stop sign on Durwood Road.  The church is two blocks further on the right.   The Annex is two doors down from the main church sanctuary.
