Troop 395 Activities

Troop 395 has always had an incredibly strong outdoor program. The Troop goes on some type of outing each month throughout the year. Come rain or shine, snow or heat, each scout will learn how to be comfortable in the wilderness. Each year the Troop goes to summer camp at Blass Scout Reservation. This week long camp offers a condensed program for scouts to develop skills that will lead to rank advancement, as well as gives them a great experience in "living on their own". In addition to summer camp, the Troop usually plans an Adventure Trip to some place outside the state. In the past we have gone to such places as Colorado, New Mexico and Tennessee for backpacking, hiking, whitewater rafting, caving and rock climbing.
